The Music heard on HANK FM includes current stars like Rascal Flatts, Gretchen Wilson, Keith Urban and Sugarland, but the real secret to the sound, is just “Playing Everything Country.” We play great country music from the watershed eras of Country such as “The Outlaw Movement” of the mid 70’s that brought us Waylon and Willie. The “Urban Cowboy” movement of the late 70’s and early 80’s that brought Charlie Daniels and Bonnie Rait to a larger audience. The “New Traditionalists” of the mid 80’s that spawned the careers of Dwight Yoakum, Ricky Scaggs, the Judds and Randy Travis. The “Country Explosion” the of the late 80’s and early 90’s that saw the debut of superstars like Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson, Travis Tritt and Vince Gil to name a few.
